Мартин Дэвид - профессиональный охотник. Ему поступает предложение от биотехнологической компании, которая занимается разработкой сверхсекретного оружия. Перед ним стоит задача о ликвидации тасмансского тигра, который якобы давно убит. Тигр излучает в среду ядовитые токсины, которые не оставляют шансов его жертвам. Исходя из индивидуальных особенностей он становится объектом изучения Красного листа. Мартин приезжает в Тасманию, и поселяется в дом к женщине, воспитующей двоих детей. Муж Люси исчез в лесах Тасмании три года назад при невыясненных обстоятельствах. Сама женщина наркозависима, а дети предоставлены самим себе. Сын Люси - Байк знает примерное местонахождение тигра. Мартин, следуя подсказкам ставит ловушку на зверя. Кто угодит в капкан охотника?
